Photographing interiors can be a challenge provided space, lighting and white balance to enhance warmth and the mood. We had the honor to work with certified interior designer Michael Moeller in Manhattan last week. At the shoot we were both able to tackle some of these challenges and provide an image you just want to jump into!

The New Year is Here and What are YOU going to do about it?

With the New Year comes resolutions and lots of broken promises to ones self. Why not do it right this year. In 2009 I found many interesting stories from clients about bad castings, good castings, concepts that work and dont work. Not to mention I learned some better techniques for models and actors to get work and actually get PAID for it!! This year we are going to do our best to keep all informed on Events, Castings, Techniques, Special Offers and make sure you can do what you love both safely and successfully.

One tip -still use with caution, but for those who want to expand and bring themselves to the next level in modeling- try Google!! Type in under search :  Top poses; unique modeling poses; how to pose couture and more. Then click on the top to Image and see what’s out there. Perhaps it is a matter of fine tuning a pose that will set you apart from the rest.  In a special effort to help you with this we have used in the past special posing boxes, weird spaces, angles and some outdoor environments to help inspire you. But the truth is the majority of “Fifth Avenue Types” want YOU to be unique not the surroundings. So be sure to practice and make it a point to visit some of workshops this winter or do a shoot and let us guide you one on one.
